Here is the latest update for your situational awareness.  

  • As of 1300 hours Calvert EM has stood up their EOC to an enhanced level in support of this incident.
  • A tropical storm warning is in effect for Calvert 
  • Storm surge is expected to be the main threat to our area. 1-3 ft. is expected during high tides Saturday morning 9:26 AM and evening 10:23PM.
  • Rainfall amounts of 2-4 inches are expected with localized amounts up to 5 inches possible starting tonight through Sunday
  • Tropical force wind gusts are expected between 50-60 mph over southern MD with sustained winds of 20-30 mph
  • Impacts may include downed trees, downed powerlines, hazardous driving conditions, localized flooding, and scattered power and communications outages
There are no more planned briefings from the state.  Calvert EM will continue to monitor and update if there are any significant changes.
