Over time I have been asked to find radio people that went off the air without a trace. Most were people I loved too. More often I end up crying on someone's porch. One more silent key. But it brings us closer to the group.

This time was a little better. I found a live one!!! And it was really hard not to cry. He is 80ish. He is almost dead and wants to die.
Now he wants me to find a friend from the radio he has lost. Here I go again.

Sure is fun getting old. I have more dead contacts than live ones,

Silent Keys are not silent to me. I have a photographic memory complete with audio. That cuts both ways. Happy feeling and love. Then comes the tears.
