CARA Members,

 

At last night's meeting, the subject came up of continuing with Zoom connectivity for our meetings.  Several members expressed concerns that virtual attendance hurts active participation and camaraderie associated with in-person gatherings.

 

As the association secretary, I was asked to poll membership on their opinions for returning to in-person meetings, with the understanding that some individuals with medical issues, transportation issues or away on travel would still like to participate virtually.  Those individuals (not the general membership) would be accommodated by requesting the Zoom access information a day or two prior to the meeting.

OBTW ... join us at King's Landing Park tomorrow (Aug 12) for the Maryland QSO party.  We will be at picnic pavilion #1.  Good shade and a nice breeze there.
