For those planning to participate, it would be helpful if you bring a laptop with the K3FJP's Maryland QSO Party logging software (In-State Participant version).   I'll provide the activation/PW code on-site this Saturday.

That software can be downloaded from the link below. Typically, for a QSO party, most stations will be calling us rather than us calling them, so the chances of a duplicate QSO are not as high. So we probably can get away without networking the laptops. I'll just combine the logs after the contest.

Good morning everyone. Just a last reminder. MD QSO Party is Saturday. The
club has rented pavilion 1 at King's Landing Park in Huntingtown from 9am to
8pm. Come on out and operate for a while and/or chat and yammer with the
other folks. I will have a station set up and I believe Shawn, N3AE is
bringing one as well. Plenty of room for others if you want to bring your
own. There IS commercial power in the pavilion so no need for back up power.
Weather folks are saying it could be hot so keep that in mind. There is a
ceiling fan(s)so that may help. Didn't get a lot of response about menu so
BYOF/B. A grill is also readily available so feel free to bring something to
toss on. Charcoal is coming.

For anyone not familiar with King's Landing, Pavilion 1 is on the right of
the drive coming into the park. As soon as you come out of the woods, It's
right behind the maintenance barn. Restroom facilities are close enough to
spit on so no problem there.

Look forward to seeing folks there.
