The Baltimore/Washington NWS office is holding an online SKYWARN Basics
class on Monday, July 24th from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. This class is a
prereq for all other NWS Classes, including the upcoming SKYWARN Net
Control Class.  Please pass this along to all of your Net Control and
prospective Net Control stations as well as any other hams in your area.

As always, registration is free but required.  Because this is an online
event, registration is a two step process.

Start at https://www.weather.gov/lwx/skywarn and register for this
class.  This registers you with the NWS for spotter training but does
NOT register you with the gotowebinar,com.

To register with gotowebinar.com, you need to go to the event page
(links in your online ticket or your email acknowledgement) and follow
the instructions to sign up with gotowebinar.com.  This step is
important because without it you will not be able to enter the webinar.

This is a great chance to get trained without leaving your home.  I hope
we have a good ham turnout for the class.
