Shawn,
Great information. I think this is great news.
I am still waiting on the Bill that would allow Amateur’s to erect antennas and now having to worry about Covenants and Restrictions from the Homeowners Association.
I’m also looking into “Non Enforcement of C&R’s” if there is a way to get around them after a certain time period.
But its like Rocking the Boat if you make too many waves. But I think it’s worth looking into…
Thanks again..

Subject: [K3CAL] Maryland House Bill 331 - Amateur Radio Antenna Structures
All,
Last year a bill was passed unanimously by the Maryland House that would basically make the Federal PRB-1 a part of the Maryland Code. Unfortunately, it never made it to the Maryland Senate before the the legislative session ended.
The bill has been reintroduced in the 2022 session. It would help if you can phone or email your Maryland house delegate to convey your support of the bill. It's likely to be even more important to contact your Maryland Senator when the bill moves to that chamber.
Most amateurs focus their support on amateur radio's role in emergency communications but I would also suggest emphasizing the STEM aspects of the hobby.
Info at:
Note: This bill does not address or negate CC&Rs that convey with deeded property or HOA's. That's another challenge for another day.
