[K3CAL] Marine Core Marathon Volunteers

The MCM folks are looking for more amateur radio operators (AROs) to
support communications for the event. I did it a few years ago and it was a
blast, well almost everything was except for the drive to DC getting there
at 3:00am before they shut down the roads for the event.

When:
October 2 Deadline to register as a volunteer

October 12 2026 1100-1400 in person radio check day from that is strongly
encouraged to attend to verify you have all the planned repeater and
simplex frequencies programmed

October 17 2026 0900-1200 Virtual Zoom All Hands Training

October 25 2026, Actual Event All Day from very early in the morning until
all runners, walkers, and trail vehicle, pass your assigned mile marker
station.
