In case I can't make tonight's net, here are some details for this
Saturday's Armed Forces Day Crossband Test.

Flyer attached with event details.

I am planning to be operating from the pentagon during the event.

Date: May 9, 2026
Time: 0800-2000 EDT
Bands: 80 thru 10 depending on the station

Military stations listen on amateur bands and transmit on military
frequencies.

Some notable stations on the air will be:

Battleships Alabama and Iowa
Aircraft carriers Hornet and Midway
Pentagon  (Callsign WAR)
Naval Academy
Ft Huachuca, AZ
Camp Foster, Okinawa,
Naval Air Station Whidbey Island
Travis Air Force Base
Scott Air Force Base
and more
