[K3CAL] Important Information about the Sunderland Repeater

Motion for consideration at the next meeting, a special meeting, or
sooner...

CARA immediately purchase (funds permitting) a new repeater for the Mt.
Hope site to keep the 985 and link on the air and funds be raised for the
future purchase of a duplicate repeater for the Lusby site (Lusby seems to
be holding it own... for now).

Both repeaters are critical to keep the club growing and moving forward as
well as  maintaining reliable communications in times of need. Clearly,
that's no longer the case. If we're going to promote radio and the
principal of "When all else fails...", we can't afford to have periods of
extended downtime. We need our repeaters to be on the air.

Personally, I wouldn"t have a problem with the board acting in the best
interest of the club,  it's members, and commitments by moving forward on
this issue ASAP.

That's my 2 cents.

Thank the Mt. Hope DR1x for it's service and put it out to pasture!
