Hello All,
Today we shared some test results with the Calvert County radio shop. They have made some adjustments to the 800 Mhz system that should eliminate the interference. Many, many thanks to Calvert Emergency Management for their willingness to work with amateur radio operators. We are very lucky to have such a relationship with local government. Many more thanks to everyone who has worked on the K3CAL linked repeater system, sorting out all the details with chasing down the gremlins. It could not have been done without their input and help. Most of all Thank you to the club for alll of your support, understanding and patience with this project. It has been a long four years.
Currently the 146.985 VHF in Sunderland is on the air in a stand alone configuration. The 444.950 UHF is on the air also in a stand alone configuration. So far, everything seems to be interference free. The repeaters will be linked together in the next several days. Then if all goes well, the fine tuning begins.
Baby Steps....
Brian
