Calvert H.S. STEM Expo is this Saturday folks. The hours are from 11am to
3pm. Doors usually open around 8:30 for set up. I requested 2 tables and
the same location as last year. I'm still waiting for the final draft from
the coordinator.

I will be bringing an HF station and battery power, Shawn is bringing a VHF
station, and I beleive Nigel is bringing a visual display. We will also
have some other visual displays and literature for hand outs. We will need
folks to monitor the 2m repeater and/or EchoLink for the kids to make
contacts.

We will be a special event station again this year using the club callsign.
The following people have volunteered to call CQ:

Tom, KC3YZZ- 12p-1p
Laila, KC3ZPC- 1p-2p
Nigel, G0JKN- 2p-3p

If anything changes for you, please let me know. Probably want to bring
some headphones as well.

If you plan on coming by in support of this event, that's ok but please
understand...  the place is packed with staff, students, parents, and
exhibitors so too many pleople in front of our display can cause problems.
It's best to only have a few people at a time. There usually are food
vendors there as well.

Once I have a final draft with time comfirmation(s), I will let everyone
know and add any final thoughts and infoprmation.

Hopefully we'll be able to open up some younger folks to the world of radio.
