[K3CAL] GMRS reconmendations

For a basic there's the Radioddity GM-30 PLUS. It has 1000 channeks in
zones. For mine zones 2-3 receive local amateur repeaters and some of the
Auxcomm emcomm frequencies. I got several for my family as my daughter's
family lives in Lusby for bugout. Transmit is not available for any zone
other than zone 1 and there are conflicting reports about the number of
channels that will allow transmitting in zone 1.

However the Wouxun KG-S65G is a radio that has 400 channels for GMRS only,
with only 30 preprogrammed. It's available from Buy Two Way Radios in North
Carolina. Normally they ship M-F, usually same day if the order is soon
enough. (Wouxun is usually better than most brands as they have
superheterodyne receivers.)

Both radios are USB-C chargeable.
