A busy time for CARA members, here's a list of some of the upcoming events.....

April 25th 2026 NVIS DAY 
Join Andy KC3WRX, Shawn N3AE, Nigel G0JKN, and others for Near Vertical Incidence SKywave  (NVIS) Day. Learn how to take advantage of low antennas to produce a near vertical signal for short to medium range propagation on HF frequencies.

May 16th 2026 Trash or Treasure Sale
The long awaited sale of excess CARA equipment is here. Join CARA at the Mount Hope Community Center in Sunderland for the Trash or Treasure Sale. A list of the available gear will be distributed soon. 
Have gear of your own to sell? Your in luck, tables will be available for $10 each. Table registration will open soon.
Volunteers needed for making up flyers, organizing table layout and of course hanging out for a day of fun in Sunderland. If you can lend a hand please contact me.

June 27th to 28th 2026 FIELD DAY
Amateur Radio's annual Superbowl, Field Day will be held at the Broomes Island Community Center. Help is needed with coordinating marketing and promotion, Potluck Dinner arrangements, Set up, break down, and clean up. Most importantly, On the Air Operators are needed to man the radios. Think you can fill a role? contact Nigel G0JKN, he will appreciate the help.
