Andy C,

I think Nick was answering Zzzz ( I believe thats Tom) who is offering his J pole to Jimmy.

At least that's what it looks like from my side of the screen, but then again that's relative.

Andy Byzet, WA4BRX already asked for it. Knows a new ham who can use it. Told him to get ahold of me about picking it up but haven't heard back yet

I use that god awful stretchy tape that seals itself.  Yes it is just copper wire soldered to the short pipe and center pin

I’ve been planning to make one of these, I found some old copper pipe in my garage a while back. Currently I only have a 2meter dipole I made on my roof, but wanted to make a 2M/70cm j-pole. Did you do any weather proofing to the connector, and is that just some copper wire soldered to the So239 chassis mount in the center?

Sent from my iPhone. Any mistakes made is because Siri made me do it.

Jimmy,
Unless I already gave it away I may have one of these somewhere in the basement.  If I find it you can have it.  Let me know and I’ll go digging.  Would then just have to figure out getting it to you (I work Thursday nights and cant make the meeting).

Up for grabs... 2m/440 copper J-Pole Antenna. Free to a good home. First come... first serve. Will deliver it at the club meeting next week. Not the best picture but it still works. In service till about 30 minutes ago.
