WOW! A great field day so far! The multi band dipole antenna with the five band filtered radio set up works great. The air conditioning is COLD, so cold you have to go outside to warm up. The food, oh my so much food, is great and lots of folks including the Boy Scouts have made contacts on the air! One Scout even made a contact with Italy! A Lot more field day to go. Shawn N3AE and Nigel G0GKN are still at it, making CW, Digital and Phone contacts. 

Want to get on the air yourself? There is still time, stop by today Sunday June 29th 2025, 8am until noon, maybe later if folks are still interested. Clean up will start between Noon and 2pm depending on the on air activity. But we are done at 2pm and will need a hand packing up and cleaning up.

CARA 2025 Field Day is TODAY at the Broomes Island Community Center, 4080 School Road, in Broomes Island. Set up will start 8-8:30am, with On the Air Operations starting at 2pm. Five stations will be on the air. Stop by for a visit, hang out for awhile, and get on the air to make some contacts for the club.
