[K3CAL] CARA Field Day 2025 this weekend

Good Evening,

Come one, Come ALL. Everyone is welcomed! grab your family, friends or neighbors, even grab the neighbors friends, and join the fun at CARA for the 2025 Field Day. Stay all day or a just for bit. Stop by, leave and come back. Stay all night, show up Saturday or Sunday. Help set up, help clean up, Get on the Air, or just hang out. Do what ever works for you, so long as you stop by.

Saturday June 28th 2025

Set up starts at 8 to 8:30am
-- Assistance needed with Antenna mast, Antennas, guidelines, feed lines, radios, computers, power cables, tables, food etc.

On the Air by 2:00pm
- Operators welcomed for Five Band Specific Filtered Stations, 10m, 15m, 20m, 40m, and 80m.
- Any mode. SSB, CW or DIGITAL.
- Bring your own headphones and your own 1/8 and 1/4 adapters.
- Operators can bring their own radios and power supplies, if desired, for connection to CARA's antenna system.
- ALL contacts will be logged by CARA networked computers using N3FJP Field Day logging software.
- BE Considerate of those operating on the air! Move eyeball QSO's to the room across the hall.

Boy Scouts expected around 3pm.
- need someone to prepare the hot dogs for the scouts.

Club Dinner at 5:00pm-ish.
- Pot Luck Dinner. Bring something to share. (see past emails for list of committed items)
Will operate as late as operaters want to stay.
We do have permission to stay over night. However, no one has committed to doing so.
If coming late (after 9to 10pm.. Suggest checking on the K3CAL repeater, to see if anyone is still there.

Sunday June 29th 2025

Club Breakfast ?? am.

Operations will continue, Provided Their Are Interested Operators  until no later than 2pm.

ALL HANDS ON DECK at 2pm, Possibly Earlier, for tear down, packing up, clean up, take out trash and mop floors.
We can't leave until this is done. Don't stick just a couple club members with all of the cleanup, show up and pitch in!

Sunday Evening June 29th 2025.

Recover from too much food, too little sleep, lots of contacts, and lots of fun with lots of good friends.
Fall asleep thinking about next year's Feild Day!
