honors at Arlington National Cemetery on Wednesday, August 27, 2025.

🕒 Arrival Time

Please plan to arrive no later than 2:00 PM to allow ample time for 
security screening.

🔐 Security and Identification Requirements

As of May 7, 2025, Arlington National Cemetery requires all individuals 
over the age of 18 who are authorized to drive onto the cemetery grounds 
to present a REAL ID at the security checkpoint.

You will need to arrive with a vehicle you can drive in during the 
service. They will not allow any taxis, uber, lifts,etc to drive you 
through the Cemetery. It is 600 acres and you cannot walk from the 
chapel to the graveside service.

📝 Pre-Screening Requirement

All attendees wishing to be present at the service must undergo 
pre-screening. Please email Lorin Hoyt at lhoyt1216 at outlook.com by June 
27 if you wish to attend.

We are deeply grateful for the support and love we’ve received during 
this time. Your presence at Arlington to honor my father’s service and 
sacrifice would mean the world to us.

For those unable to attend, your thoughts and prayers are sincerely 
appreciated.

Note: This announcement will be updated with any additional details as 
they become available.
