KC3WRX: Lunch at iHOP Wednesday. National Night Out (NNO) on 8/5 from 5 till 9 PM at Broomes Island Community Center. HT support Kits tobe the topic at Auxcom meeting in August.
KC3QQD: Looking forward to NNO and operating TalkAround Tuesday from there over the cross-band repeater on 146.580 SIMPLEX and transmit tone of 100.0 which will then go through the cross-band radio on 70cm to me at the remote site. Check-ins should wait to be checked in by county and give a signal report at time of check-in.
N3AE: AUXCOM – HT and accessories including Antenna digital mode device would be good. Still considering change to digital mode practice. A Station in Delaware selling a ROAN fold-over tower. Berryville VA Hamfest is Sunday.
W3PQS: stay weather aware and stay cool. Hoping to do a POTA activation on Saturday. Will update via email.
N3PPH: HF and FT-8 and PSK recently.
AB3LE: fish and firewood are plentiful.
AC3KX: Stay cool and weather aware.
W1AJW: looking for a different approach for makeshift antenna for 40m
KC3RWT: visited with kids last week and the Harley is in the shop.
KC3FF: trying to stay on the cool side of the wall. Trying to get cured of bronchitis. Experimenting with HF rig controls.
WB6NCO: power was out for 8 hours yesterday. Looking forward to lunch
WA4BRX: CARA POTA event is in the middle of the month of August
KB3WFV: greetings. 8/9 is Maryland QSO party. NNO on 8/5/25.
KB5LNC: heading down to NC again soon. Using HT for Winlink.

For 2025 we are planning a monthly POTA demo. Possibly have a club activation for Maryland DC QSO party.
