CALLING ALL CARA MEMBERS

Join us Thursday January 9th 2025 at 7:30 pm for a very special CARA meeting. We will meet in the EOC room of the Public Safety building, located at 315 Stafford Road in Prince Frederick.

For the first time in CARA history, CARA has been awarded a grant from Mobile Communications of America (MCA). MCA is the Motorola Dealer that installed and maintains the 'Maryland First' statewide 700mhz communication system. MCA Vice President Roger Cassell will be presenting the CARA memnership with the MCA DAY Grant.

Dave McDowell, Public Safety Director for Calvert County.
Crystal Dowd, Public Safety Deputy Director.
Michael E.Grierson, Division Chief, Department of Public Safety, Division of Emergency Management

Please wear your CARA, ARES or RACES name tags or badges. If you have weather appropriate CARA logo shirts wear those as well. Photo's and  video for publication in press releases and announcements will be taken at this meeting. Dress appropriately!

This General Membership Meeting will be called to order at 7:30pm. Introductions of those in attendance, member application approval vote, a brief overview of up coming 2025 events and then the meeting will be  turned  over to our guest. The 50/50 raffle will be held as usual.

Come show your appreciation and gratitude  for being awarded a grant.
