Hello All,
Tomorrow, Saturday February 8th 2025 between 2pm and 3pm. For a few moments, I will be at the CARA storage room in the Mount Hope Community Center in Sunderland. The exact time will depend on what time I get out of Anne Arundel County's amateur license testing session.
I will be at Mount Hope, to locate the scanners, antennas, and power cords/chargers to be programmed for the kids attending this years STEM fair on February 22nd 2025. These scanners and their accessories need to be located, cleaned, inspected, tested, and programmed with the frequencies listed below.
The list below is a very condensed list of frequencies provided to me by Shawn N3AE, Andy KC3WRX and Erik KC3QQD. By the way Erik has a phenomenally extensive list of frequencies. If you want an all inclusive list contact Erik directly.
If you feel that Amateur Radio needs to attract young people, or CARA needs to do more outreach and become 'known', or CARA needs to clean out the Mount Hope storage room. Then this progect is a home run.
Who will meet me there?
Hit 'Reply All' with your answer.
NO, Dick W3RBR, not you. I will bring some of the scanners to you, only if you are up to it.
If no one shows up, the kids don't get scanners. It's that simple!
Thank you for your participation
Brian
