KC3WRX: Les Silva KH6CUJ is a silent key. Did a lot of great things for ham radio for Calvert and Anne Arundel. Arrangements in club email. Please come out and support if possible. Next Lunch is at Buckets in Lusby 1130 1/7/26. Wind advisory until 0100 Tuesday. On Thursday 1/8/2026 is club meeting at the EOC 730 PM
KC3QQD: Sad about Les. Dues are due. Tall tower Test last week went well. This is the text of the email I got via the club reflector regarding arrangements for Les:
 
“ 'Funeral memorial Mass will be at 11am at Jesus the Divine Word Church on Cox Rd in Huntingtown. Date is Tuesday, January 6 at 11am with visitation/viewing of sorts in church beforehand. Don’t know what time that will start but probably about 45 minutes before or so. There will be a repast afterwards so the guys can get their Tuesday food there. There will be no hot dogs. Thanks. Mary Ann' looks like the viewing will be between 10:15 and 11:00 AM at the church”

N3AE: Sad about Les. No digital practice this week. There will be something for Auxcomm meeting next month. Andy BRX Has a tilt-over tower from his father’s estate.
W3PQS: Getting colder tonight and tomorrow.
AC3KX: Sad about Les keeping him and the family in prayers. Made a lot of contacts on 20m. Temp is dropping quickly. Happy New Year.
AB3LE. Keeping the fish warm.
G0JKN: Sad to hear of Les. Working on printer to make it multicolor. Wind blew something off the house.
W1AJW: Was able to repair problem with rig to get into the repeater.
KC3VNH: Did not have the honor of knowing Les and will keep him in prayer.
KB5LNC: Near Greensboro NC. Has been doing a lot of travel. Will keep Les in prayer. Looking forward to great fun with ham radio in 2026.
K3OCM: Breakfast at Dreamweaver Saturday at 0900
KB3VLE: IC706 on 2m from Lusby.
KD3BLI: Condolences to Les’ family. Family has been visiting with him this week.
