 Jason,

Thanks for the support Sunday. Looking forward to meeting you again. First year out with POTA for the club. As things find a rhythm, the events could be expanded to parks in other counties, encouraging more people to join amateur radio.

Also, certainly alert me if you are ever near the Anne Arundel area county here.

Subject: Re: [K3CAL] CARA POTA I saw you had Parkers Creek on for June 7 or 8. I won't be able to join on the 7th as my band has a gig then, but I may be able to Join you on Sunday the 8th. Parkers creek aint too much of a park, probably not that for a group, but I am sure it can work.  What locations were you thinking of on Parkers Creek? There are several areas/options?

Scott,

Thank you, and thanks to Jason as well. It was a true pleasure to meet a fellow ham who shares the enthusiasm and passion for the hobby. Yes, Lisa has some photo's, so does Shawn N3AE. I will get something together hopefully this week to at least the Facebook page, and maybe the website.

Our website is ww.k3cal.club . The schedule of events is located at: https://www.k3cal.club/events.html . The next two activations are scheduled for:

May 3 or 4th - Jefferson Patterson Park
June 7 or 8th - Parker’s Creek WMA

I will ask Andy WA4BRX and the rest of the CARA POTA team to pin down the exact dates and times as soon as possible. As soon as I know for sure, I will pass it along.

You and Jason are welcomed any time at any event. Let me know if I can be of any help.

Thanks so much.  It was a pleasure to be there with such a great and fun group of people. I told Brian, even though I am a good way away from your club, I'll probably join and support you guys as much as I can. I won't be able to make your next outing in Mary, but June would would be possible. I need to date. I looked at your facebook page but did not see that event posted.
Here are a few pics I took today, I am hoping someone else, maybe Brian's wife got some better pics.
Cheers all, W3GTR73  or as we say in QRP land on CW, 72

Both did a great job showing us the ins and outs that go along with a field activation. The challenge coins from Jason were a hit in my book and Jason was on point with his experience and ideas. Was also good to get club members together in a format other then a meeting. If you missed today, put the next one on your calendar. Should be a good time.  Andy KC3WRX  ______________________________________________________________
