Matt...
Your participation and knowledge has been a huge benefit to CARA and Aucxomm. If I catch you on Echolink, I will yield my time and allow you to time out the repeater!
Best of luck and well wishes.

Matt,
I initially took exception to your claim about Wisconson deer hunters, assuming my home state of West Virginia was king.
Well ... looks like Wisconson wins with as many as 3x the number of deer hunters ....but the numbers are going down so there's still hope for WV

Good luck and safe travels.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes.
Thanks for the hospitality and welcoming into the club during my time here. This move wasn't planned to happen but sadly the situation in my neighborhood has made it a necessity for us to move. We decided we were just happier back in WI. I didn't anticipate on leaving so suddenly, but things just kind of happened that way. (it's a long story).
I'll check in on Echolink from time to time to ensure the time out timer works. You know, those things need to be used once in a while or they will rust up and stick.
Wisconsin isn't so bad.
Fun fact about Wisconsin: Many snowmobile trails are routed so you can hop from bar to bar without having to drive on the roads.
Another fun fact: We can legally own a kangaroo.
Another another fun fact: If all of the hunters on opening day of deer season in Wisconsin were grouped together, they would comprise the sixth largest army in the world.

Fellow CARA club member Matt N3IVK will be leaving Calvert County to take a position with a communication company in Wisconsin. Matt has been a tremendous supporter of the CARA organization. From his help at field day, to his knowledge and assistance with the K3CAL Linked Repeater System. Including using his own equipment to provide an APRS Digipeater at the Lusby tower site. His quick wit, endless depths of knowledge and his friendship will be missed.
Thanks Matt for all of your support. Best of luck to you an yours with the new endeavors.
Brian
