SUBJ: ASWFC GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 24/24
ISSUED AT 0414UT/11 MAY 2024
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

The planetary geomagnetic conditions have reached G5 during the
interval 10/2100UT to 11/0300UT. Further periods of planetary
G5 level geomagnetic storm activity are probable during the UT
day 11-May. Planetary G1-G2 storm activity is expected on 12-May.
The geomagnetic storm activity is due to the arrival of a sequence
of coronal mass ejections observed on 08-09 May.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION
