Live Tonight at 8pm! From  the Calvert County EOC. A Simplex Test of the RACES radio system.

 Join EriK, K3QQD and Shawn N3AE, as they host this week's Talk Around Tuesday from the Calvert County Public Safety Building Emergency Operation Center. They will be testing the newly installed RACES radio system and are looking for check ins from all over the area. Transmitting from the Calvert County Barstow tower site, this is a great opportunity to test your stations ability to reach the EOC on simplex without using a repeater.

The net will start at 8:00 PM on the primary frequency of 146.580 FM. NO PL Tone, NO Tone Squelch, NO CTCSS, NO Offset, NO Split. Just good old fashion Simplex FM. The alternate frequency will be 146.520.
