KB3WFV: QSL – style card for contacts and to hand out to the public at events. National Night out at Broomes Island community Center from which is on 8/6/24. Demo station and promotional event for the public to introduce them to ham radio. TalkAround Tuesday will be operating from there over the crossband radio at Barstow. There is also a HF station planned for this event. Monthly club meeting on Thursday 8/8/2024 at the Public Safety Building in Barstow. MDC QSO party at Broomes Island Community Center on 8/10/24 10 to 12 Midnight with at least 2 stations.
KC3QQD: Looking forward to helping with ham radio demo on 8/6 via a special TalkAround Tuesday net.
W3RBR: Likes the club QSL cards – think we should a large amount.
W3PQS: Finally vehicle back from dealer – working on re-installing radio
KC3TXO: (mobile) hopes that rain scavenging system is working well.
KC3WRX: Simulated deployment Friday evening with about 10 members with outside stations. Still trying to get Skywarn training class. Lunch is at O'Gannigans Restaurant Prince Frederick 1130 Wednesday.
N3XMZ: working on Calvex exercise prelim event
AC3KX: The simplex net test was interesting.
W1AJW: did not rain in Solomons.
KC3RWT: Planning to head to San Diego this week.
KN6SMG: greetings from Huntingtown.
N3IVK: in and out
N3ILH: has replaced old mobile antenna with Diamond 7900. Is testing results with scanner reception.
KB5LNC: Participated in Appalachian Trail Golden packet relay event on Saturday. Had a fuel leak in vehicle on the way home.
K3OCM: Breakfast at Dreamweaver Café Saturday at 0900.
KC3WOA: Tried some radio from outer banks with QRP and Kite antenna recently.
KC3QHM: greetings from LaPlata
