The Maryland DC QSO Party promotes HAM RADIO throughout the state of Maryland and the District of Columbia.  The idea is to contact as many stations in Maryland and Washington DC as possible. CARA members operating as K3CAL, can Hunt for and make contact with other Maryland and DC stations. Or CARA operators can Run CQ, making lots of contacts with out of state stations. All of these contacts add to the overall Club score.

CARA will need:
SSB operators.
CW Operators.
Digital Operators.

The tentative plan is to set up at Broomes Island Community Center in Broomes Island. Operators can bring their own rigs. Initial thoughts are to operate on 80m 40m and 20m. CARA will provide the antenna system.

The event will begin at 1400 on August 10, 2024 UTC, and end at 0400 August 11, 2024 UTC.
In EDT, the event will take place 10am August 10, 2024 and end at midnight August 10th 2024.
