Rain, mainly before 2am. The rain could be heavy at times. Low around 42. Windy, with a southeast wind 28 to 33 mph becoming southwest 21 to 26 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 55 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.

HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM TUESDAY TO 1 AM EST WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Southeast winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected. The strongest winds will be near the bayshore.

* WHERE...Calvert County.

* WHEN...From 3 PM Tuesday to 1 AM EST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if you must drive.
