Thanks. Sounds like a great exercise.  I'm nearly ready to roll. Found the missing control head for the radio. Watched the YouTube video and corrected my radio settings. But I'm not seeing my beacon on aprs.fi. I did see a trace on the radio like it was beaconing but no receipt on the net. I do see a beacon from my phone from aprsdroid. Not sure what to do next.  Will run through the video again to make sure I didn't miss anything. Dave KB3RAN

So locating the control head and getting the settings reset is the main fix. Your place or mine.  Kenwood 710G I think  Let me know if you can help. .73Dave KB3RAN  -------- Original message --------From: kew at k3w.us Date: 9/1/23 19:19 (GMT-05:00) To: Calvert Amateur Radio Association - K3CAL <k3cal at mailman.qth.net> Subject: Re: [K3CAL] CARA Breakfast ??  All,As a memory jogger, a few of us will be having breakfast at The Dreamweaver Cafe in Prince Frederick at 0800.73,Kim, K3OCMOn 2023-08-28 14:16, Andrew Charland wrote:> I'm in.> > Andy> > On Mon, Aug 28, 2023, 14:19 <kew at k3w.us> wrote:> >> All,>> >> Is anyone interested in a CARA breakfast?>> Weekly, Bi-weekly, Monthly?>> >> I have talked to Trish at The Dreamweaver Cafe in Prince Frederick>> and>> we can use the back room from 0800-0900 this Saturday.>> They have a group of eight (8) coming in at 0900.>> We could be seated in the front also.>> >> Any Interest?>> >> Thank You, Shawn, N3AE for suggesting The Dreamweaver Cafe!>> >> I plan to be there.>> >> 73.>> Kim>> K3OCM>> 301.575.4396>> >> ______________________________________________________________>> K3CAL mailing list>> Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/k3cal>> Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm>> Post: mailto:K3CAL at mailman.qth.net>> Unsubscribe:>> mailto:k3cal-request at mailman.qth.net?subject=unsubscribe>> >> This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net>> Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html> ______________________________________________________________> K3CAL mailing list> Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/k3cal> Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm> Post: mailto:K3CAL at mailman.qth.net> Unsubscribe: mailto:k3cal-request at mailman.qth.net?subject=unsubscribe> > This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net> Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html______________________________________________________________K3CAL mailing listHome: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/k3calHelp: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htmPost: mailto:K3CAL at mailman.qth.netUnsubscribe: mailto:k3cal-request at mailman.qth.net?subject=unsubscribeThis list hosted by: http://www.qsl.netPlease help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
