[K3CAL] Calvert H.S. Science and Technology Fair

Good morning all. I received an email this morning regarding Calvert H.S.'s
annual Science and Technology Fair. The date is Feb. 24th from 11am to 3pm.
Several of us took part in this last year and felt it was a good
opportunity to expose the younger folks to amateur radio as well as let
people know we're out there and what we do. I submitted the registration
form for CARA requesting 1 table and space near a door(so antennas can be
set up). If anyone is interested in taking part, let me know.

I plan to bring my big go box(2 meters, 440, and HF)and antenna options.
Will also bring a computer for digital ops if anyone would like to
demonstrate.

A couple members monitored the repeater and gave students the chance to
make contacts last year so hopefully we can do the same again.
