Notes from 3/13/2023:
KC3QQD: Club has been working on an ad to go in the Southern Maryland Volunteer Fireman’s Association convention program. 18 people attended the club meeting last Thursday and two are not yet hams! Voted in one new member. Have discussed using the club repeater system for Skywarn. KC3RKP had a hands-on demonstration of portable antennas and his go boxes. CCPOTA – yes. Virginia linked repeater KF4AH is now on 146.895 with PL of 110.9 . TalkAround Tuesday is on 28.345 USB at 8 PM tomorrow.
KB3WFV: Possible Calvert County Parks “On The Air” activity – poll – are you interested?
N3AE: Last Thursday's meeting minutes have been sent out on the club reflector email. K3CAL License has been renewed. New Membership Application form can be emailed or mailed. Auxcom meeting on Wednesday. CC POTA -- yes.
KC3WRX: Auxcom meeting on Wednesday -- Storm spotting and ham radio. Update hurricane plan. Check out Auxcom page. Radio Romania was sounding very good tonight on shortwave. CCPOTA – yes.
AB3LE: will standby at home to help Auxcom.
W1AJW: Wants to know if he is delinquent on dues – is ready to donate.
KC3RWT: looking forward to getting to the ham shack at the Pentagon ham radio club and trying some repeaters. CCPOTA – yes
KN6COH – Noah – greetings from Lexington Park
W3EME: CCPOTA – yes. Have been doing POTA for a while.
W3OH: CCPOTA – yes. Busy with ham radio – working on some repairs and settings. Glad we could help a ham avoid an accident traffic backup. Got a circuit lesson from N3AE today.
KO4PAN: Greetings from NC – an old friend of KB3WFV – CCPOTA – yes.
