KC3QQD: Great turn out for Field Day – we had several non-hams stop by and talk for a long while to find out more about ham radio. It was my honor to present a plaque on behalf of the club to Bill (N3XMZ) for his hard work over many years! Club meeting coming up on 7/13 7:30 at Harriet Brown community Center.
KB3WFV: Keep weather aware tonight as most of the region is under a severe thunderstorm watch tonight
N3AE: In place of our July 19 meeting, I'm encouraging AUXCOMM members to attend the public meeting on updates to the Calvert All-Hazards Mitigation Plan instead. This meeting will be held at 6PM on July 19th at the Harriett Brown Community Center. In preparation for that meeting, please complete the Community Preparedness Survey and review the current All-Hazards Mitigation Plan, both of which are linked at https://www.calvertcountymd.gov/3053/Hazard-Mitigation
W1AJW: Sitting tight for weather alert – making recovery on bronchitis
KC3WRX: TStorm Watch through 0100 local. MD QSO party in August.
W3OH: made 60 contacts during field day.
KB3RAN: went to field day very early but had to head home.
W3PQS: Thanks to Shawn and Dick from Broomes Island for handling the community center. Wont be at club meeting next month.
W3EME: out of range.
KN3D: no report – standing by for Skywarm
