Not as successful as we had hoped yesterday. 8 contacts all together. Lots
of RFI. We ended up tearing down around 4:30-4:45 due to the
band/environmental conditions. All in all, it was an opportunity to get out
and set up some equipment and see some faces. That's a plus. Plenty of shade
and the breeze through the pavilion made the day pleasant. Even had a
gentleman who is looking to be licensed find and spend some time with us.
Thanks to all who operated, stopped by to chat or help out, and contacted us
via radio during the event. Member support is what keeps the club moving in
the right direction.

 

We 'll do some looking around and experimenting. Hopefully, we can find a
more "cooperative" spot for next year.
