KC3QQD: There are some events coming up in April, including NVIS day for which we need more member to commit to working. The Calvert Parks event designed by Dave KB3RAN is also due to begin in April – let’s see if we can get some club members to assist him. Conducting a meeting later in the week about the future of repeaters.
KB3WFV: the storm over the QTH Saturday moved out over to across the Bay. Club Meeting Next Thursday night 7:30 PM Harriet Brown Community Center
N3AE: Talkaround Tuesday on 146.580 8 Pm tomorrow, using the Barstow tower thanks to permission granted by Calvert DEM. Auxcom meeting to have digital mode presentation / discussion. No damage in area. Dog to a good home – info sent on email.
KC3WRX: working on SkyWarn operations organization. This past weekend was a good example of the need for it.
AB3LE: received an alert about the weather from the county but got the heads-up from Andy.
KB3RAN: did not get a warning from the Sheriff’s office. Will send out the final version of the rules for Calvert POTA help will be appreciated. Need help with radios for programming to get on the UHF repeater with a Kenwood and a Yaesu.
KB3VLE: greetings from Lusby
W1AJW: Tree down Saturday night affected access but no significant damage.
N3PPH: Been very busy
W3PQS: Working around in the yard and repeaters sound great.
N3ILH: replacing paracord supporting inverted V. Took some time to do it.
N3BPM: G5RV – using for 2m in addition to other bands.
W3SMM: Only had a few branches down. Antennas do not appear affected.
W3OH: blowing up filter and visited N3PPH.
W3EME: Sounds good with EchoLink. Went on motorcycle to Bristol and got back in time for windstorm.
