[K3CAL] Repeater Changes and the CARA Net

Good Evening,

The 146.985 K3CAL Repeater will sound completely different. The controller failed and has been removed from the repeater. The good news is that the repeater can and  is currently functioning correctly by it's self without the controller. The bad news is, there will not be any courtesy tone. No voice announcements and No voice ID. There is also No squelch tail or hang time. This means you will not hear a beep after un-keying your radio. You will not hear the announcements for the CARA net or for the time. You will not hear the repeater voice "K 3 C A L". You will not hear the repeater transmit a brief period of silence after un keying your radio. 

All you will hear is the CW ID that is programmed into the repeater it's self. The repeater is functioning correctly and can be used. Just keep in mind that it will and does sound different. The biggest difference will be the missing  courtesy tone. Please be sure that the other station has stopped transmitting before keying up to reply. It is very easy to double with another station without the audible cue of a tone to indicate that the other station has stopped transmitting.
