[K3CAL] CARA DUES INCREASE and other news.

A dues increase was proposed by the board and approved by the membership at the March 3rd meeting.  Dues paid after April 1st will be $30 per year.  
Those who have not paid for 2022 as yet may still pay the $20 dues up to March 31st.  Postmarked or PayPalled up to that date count.  Dues may be sent by check to CARAPO BOX 306HUNTINGTOWN, MD 20639
or use the DONATE  button at the top right of the webpage at k3cal.org.   It would be nice to add an extra buck to this donation to cover the cost of PayPal processing.  If either of these methods don't work for you; contact treasurer at k3cal.org for help.
Other business at last night's meeting included:
2022 Budget approval.  Not a lot of changes from last budgets.  This will be posted to the webpage soon.
In person meetings will resume at Harriet Brown Community Center 901 Dares Beach Road, Prince Frederick on April 7th with an activity to help folks get their hand held tranceivers programmed.  Bring your walkie talkies, programming cables and software to the meeting.  A few laptops would be useful also.  The board meeting is at 6:30;  all are welcome.  Regular meeting is at 7:30.  We'll be in room 118 the first room to the right and across from the office.  Hope to see a lot of new and old faces there.  Zoom access will be available for those who cannot attend in person.
