[K3CAL] CARA Net Highlights 10-11-21

Hello Everyone.

It was great to hear all of the stations on the CARA net. Below is a list of check ins. But first the highlights from the net.

- To date the club has raised about $2,500.00 in donations for repeater upgades and repairs. The numbers are still being counted. A official totals should be available soon.
- Dave W3PQS has ordered  the new duplexers for the 440 repeater, The duplexers are being built and tuned specifically for CARA’s 440 frequencies and are expected to ship in 4 to 6 weeks.
- Bob N3PPH will perform 2 meter repeater test on Wednesday October 13th 2021 at approximately 10 am. He has asked that stations be available for signal reports/
- Shawn N3AE will install the next phase of radios at the Calvert County EOC and perform testing on them soon. The date to be announced once it is confirmed with the County Officials.
- Elections for the 2022 CARA Board of Directors, will be held during the club meeting on November 4th 2021.
