Hello Everyone,

Here are the highlights from the Calvert Amateur Radio Association Monday night net for October 4th 2021 @ 7:30 pm.

- CARA Club Zoom meeting is this Thursday October 7th 2021 at 7:30 pm. Watch the email reflector for meeting details.
- Club officer nominations needed at the meeting for filling board member positions.
- Special Thanks to Shawn N3AE, Dale KC3RKP, Bob N3PPH and Dave W3PQS for taking the time to attend the Columbia ARA Hamfest on Sunday October 3rd. They were able to pass along surplus equipment collecting $251.00 in donations. These monies further assist CARA support for ARES and RACES.
- Dick W3RBR reports approximately $1,300.00 in donations for repeater upgrades/repairs have been collected so far. Thank you to all who have contributed. 
- Dave W3PQS has secured a quote to replace the 440 repeater duplexers for $2,616.58. Purchase to be voted on at this weeks CARA meeting.
- Welcome and Congratulations to a brand new Technician Class Operator Andy KC3SRU. Be sure to say hi if you hear him on the air.
- Congratulations to Dale KC3RKP for upgrading to a General Class license at the Columbia ARA Hamfest.
