Hello Everyone,

WOW! What  a Great net! Lots of check ins including two Club Officers, (see the list below). Lots of information and more donations for the 440 duplexes.

The highlights from the net are below. First let me update everyone on my donation pledge. Last week I committed to donate $1.00 for each check in and bonus dollars for Club Officer check ins to the CARA Monday Night Nets through the end of September. Last week's CARA Net had 12 check ins. This week's CARA net had 16 check ins including 2 Club Officers.

For every Club Officer that checks in to the CARA Net. I will increase my $1.00 per check in donation by $1.00 dollar. One Club Officer increases my donation to $2.00 per check in. Two Club Officers increases my donation to $3.00 per check in, and so on.

So, this week, 16 check ins included 2 Club Officers making the per check in donation $3.00 per check in! 16 check ins multiplied by $3.00 equals $48.00 dollars. Combine this with the
$12.00 from last week and My Tax Deductible Donation to CARA is now at $60.00 dollars.

How many check ins will be there next week? Will we see all of the Club Officers? Check in next Monday at 7:30 PM on the 146.985 repeater or Echolink node #676714 to find out.

ANY Donation is Truly Appreciated. CARA and the K3CAL repeaters have the good fortune of being included in Calvert County's upgrading of it's communication system. Calvert County has spent a TON of money. The K3CAL 2 meter and 440 System Fusion Repeaters will soon be in BRAND NEW Shelters connected to BRAND NEW Antennas with BRAND NEW Coax hanging on BRAND NEW Towers installed professionally by Motorola. ALL the club needs to do is replace the duplexes.
