[K3CAL] 2 Meter Radio for George Cogswell

Email from George W1AJW who lives at Asbury in Solomons,  We had discussed giving him a 2 meter radio setup before the Corona virus shut things down.  Can we expedite this transfer and help get George on the air and on the Monday night net and most likely get a new member.

Hi Dave
How are you faring in this pandemic? We are in lockdown at Asbury and there are signs up saying "no visitors allowed."  I made up a 2-meter dipole to shove against the ceiling of my radio room when the pandemic is over and the 2-meter gear becomes available. I don't think there is any foil backing to the fiberglass insulation in the wall. If not, I can put in a work order to have Maintenance install the antenna in the north eave of the attic and run the coax through a hole in the ceiling or wall into the radio room below.
