CARA regular meeting will be held 7PM on March 5th at the Harriet Brown Community Center on E Dares Beach Road. The Treasurer and Secretary will be present to accept dues payments for 2020. Dues may also be paid by visiting the K3CAL website and using the PayPal button. Be sure to make a note on the PayPal site that it is dues for 2020. Or mail a check to Calvert Amateur Radio Assoc, Inc., PO Box 306, Huntingtown, MD 20639
On another note, our FaceBook page is current and active. It is open to members and guests that want to keep up with CARA and general ham radio items of interest. This was posted today.

Published by David Hardy · 10 mins · Calvert County Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Services (CALVRACES) receives $20,454.84 from Maryland Homeland Security grant to upgrade equipment. The Calvert County Commissioners unanimously voted to use part of the windfall from MHS to continue with the amateur radio system upgrades that are ongoing with the upgraded countywide communications system. The budget request was made by Alfred B. Jeffery, Deputy Director of Calvert County Emergency Services. The county had expected and budgeted for $76K but received $110K. Thanks to the EMS folks in Calvert County for looking out for RACES.CARA needs you to come back and be an active part of your club. Field Day is coming up and excitement is building.
