Shawn et al,

You are correct, part 97.119 requires that station identify itself every 
10 minutes and at the end of the communication.

Additionally part 97.119 allows the inclusion of additional 'indicators' 
be included as part of the station identifier.  This would allow for 
each station to still operate legally and still identify that they are 
part of a Field Day site.

Concerning record keeping, for stations that are operating as part of a 
club field day site, each remote site would need to update a club 
server.  For CARA, I remember we use to laptops and a server for record 
keeping in the past.  It should be possible to set up laptops at the 
home stations and have them connect to a club managed server via either 
the Internet or ham radio digital networks. (It might be a good exercise 
to set up a HSMM network to support field day logging.)  This would 
allow clubs to do dupe checking before submission to the ARRL.
