All,
I can't recall if this reflector allows attachments. If it does not, I'll cut and past into the body of another email.
The attached pdf is a summary of the coverage tests we ran last Wednesday from the Calvert Hospital roof. The 2M coverage proved to be pretty good, with two caveats:
* There was strong tropo ducting the morning of Oct 2nd which may have shewed the results in a favorable manner.
* The new HVAC equipment on the hospital roof was not running yet. Potential for a higher noise floor once it's fully operational.
The 70cm coverage was rather poor compared to 2M. Coverage to the south was poor. Unsure if this is due to 70cm propagation in Calvert or poorer equipment/antennas being used at the various home QTH's on the 440 band.
I would appreciate if you could get back to me with the information to fill in columns 4 through 7 for your station. By antenna height, I mean the height above local terrain, not the height above sea level.
I assume we'll be discussing any next steps at this Thursday's meeting. Hopefully I'll hear from everyone by then and have columns 4 through 7 filled in.
