[K3CAL] Field Day stuff

Quite to the contrary, this seems like the BEST place to air our
frustrations since so many members have decided that one day a month is
too much of a commitment to discuss our differences. Very few members
seem to not be reading the emails closely enough to reply with answers
that truly address the previous emails. And very few members seem to
not be listening to what is being discussed in meetings or wherever they
are meeting during the week.
Instead of bumping chests to make points BECAUSE they are NOT listening
or RESPECTING another member's point of view, why don't you ALL come to
meetings and SPEAK your peace. Granted, we will probably never agree
wholeheartedly with one another, but is it going to set us all back
several years to CONSIDER someone else's point of view and go down
another path rather than YOUR own for the sake of CARA????
CARA is a good club because of everyone's input over the past several
years. Change of members or officers will NEVER obliterate the many
good things that this club has achieved. So for HAM sake, get off your
thrones and come together.
I was totally embarrassed at the Christmas Party in 2018 for receiving
about 10 certificates for volunteering my time and services to the
Club. Get off your high horses and devote some time to getting together
for the sake of the club's business. And STOP discussing every issue
into a pile of dust. MAKE A DAMNED decision together. If it's the
wrong decision, at least we'll have a starting point to go from to make
a better decision that achieves all of our goals.
Show up, put in a few minutes of time if you give a damn at all about
ham radio and the only ham club we have that's worth anything in Calvert
County.
