I am needing a couple ofice chests for the drink bottles/cans and a folding table or two forstations.  There are picnic tables there but they don't make for long termuse.  Bring your folding chairs for your stations, too.  Mark yourgear with your name/callsign/etc.   I've made a shoppinglist for the groceries.  I plan to go to Mt Hope on Wednesday afternoon6/12 to get the tubs with paper products and food related items to inventory soI don't buy things again that we already have.  Side dishes, desserts andsnacks for sharing are encouraged.   Meal Plan:Sat midday:  Coldcut sandwiches, chips, drinks, dessert Sat dinner: Hamburgers, hot dogs, Cincinnati Chili, fixins, drinks, etcSun breakfast: Breakfast burritos (eggs, sausage), salsa, cheese, coffee, etc There is a refrigeratorfor storing cold foods. Looks like we will do 3Abut may have 4 or 5 stations set up to choose from.  There will be astation schedule available to sign up for time slots.  GOTA will be setup.  Operators are encouragedto attend and get on the air.   Directions to the DrumPoint Clubhouse:  From the north take  Route 2/4 to Lusby,  turnEast onto Rousby Hall Road Rt 260.  Stay on Rousby Hall Road through theLusby town center light to the traffic circle (near Patuxent HighSchool.)  Take the 3rd exit from the traffic circle (staying on RousbyHall Road Rt 260.)  Go about 2 miles then turn left on Barreda Blvd (atthe Drum Point sign)  Turn right staying on Barreda Blvd after about ablock.  Follow Barreda about a mile.  It will bear left and changename to Overlook Drive.  Follow Overlook to the gate and dirt road leadingto the Drum Point Clubhouse at 465 Overlook Drive, Lusby MD 20657.   Talk in frequency willbe on 444.950 + PL 156.7   This repeater does not have great range butdoes work from Rousby Hall Road mostly.  Phone 443-440-1736 if all elsefails. Did I forgetsomething?  We discussed much more at our June meeting that I'm notrepeating here.  We have stations, antennae, food, operators, nicelocation with a beach. Bring your bathing suit and sand pail.   See you on Saturday June22nd.  We'll have the gate open around 9AM for set up.  Drum Pointwill be having their annual meeting in the clubhouse for a while in the morningbut we can set up antennae and stations outdoors until they are done.  Wewill need a few folks to stay after it's done to tear down and pack up. We have not discussedlogging and software and connecting stations together.  I can bringseveral portable computers if needed.  Is there a software program topre-load before FD?  It's just under afortnight until the big day.  Dust off your gear and come play on FieldDay.  Dave HKB3RANCARA Pres
