[K3CAL] antenna test plus request for Net Control on Monday for a few weeks.

Thanks for the antenna checks.  I'll be monitoring and trying to talk to you from home.  Then I'll try from Drum Point site which has a better antenna.  Peter KB3SXB, Charlie AB3LE and I had a nice simplex net after last Monday's regular net on 146.580.  I have our new ham Dennis KC3MAA ready with a Baofeng handheld and mobile antenna at the north end of the Ranch Estates to get on the air.


Would anyone like to run the Monday night net for the next several weeks while John N3EDD is away on vacation?  I would but can't hit the repeater.

Hello all
On Tuesday September 25. I will be at the tower site in Prince Frederick, to test the antennas. I am going to take my Yaesu FT 400 D to the tower site. I will need people with radios to contact me when I’m at the tower site. And listen and let me know if they can hear me, this will be a test.
I'm going to check both antennas for propagation, we know the 440 antenna is bad, but I will check it anyways. Also I will be checking the 2 Meter antenna. The time will start at 10 AM. It will last till 11 AM please take time and check in with me so we can tell how that tower site is working. I will make a report and give it to the executive board, after this test.
 
The frequency. I will be using for VHF is 146.520 simplex no PL tone
The frequency. I will be using for UHF is 446.100 simplex no PL tone
If you need to contact me. When I'm at the tower site. I will have my phone 240 – 882 – 0484
I do not know who's going to be run in the Monday night net. I think John will not be in town but please add this to the announcements on the net.
