[K3CAL] Reminder of Nominations and Elections

To All Members,

Nominations for all officer positions in CARA are coming due at the 
regular October 4, 2018 meeting.  At that meeting the Board of Directors 
will present a slate of nominees for voting by all members in good 
standing.  Additional nominees can be made by all members at the October 
4 meeting.  Nominations will then be closed at the end of the October 4 
meeting.  Once the Secretary has the list of nominees, he will then 
distribute that list by email to all members after the October 4 meeting 
but no later than 10 days before the November 1 meeting.

For more detailed information on the officers and descriptions of each 
position's duties as well as the voting process, go to the By-Laws on 
the CARA website.  You can look at the specifics at ARTICLE III and its 
sections and also at ARTICLE IV,  Sections 1 through 6.

To navigate through the By-Laws online, go to the bottom of each page 
and click on the forward or backward curved arrows to the left in the 
gray bar.

If you want to nominate anyone or yourself for an office, please contact 
Peter Holt (KB3SXB), Dave Weaver (W3PQS), or Monica Noell (KC3DAS)  We 
are this year's Nominating Committee members.

Please feel free to ask questions of the nomination process by 
contacting one of us.

Also, if you know of a member who is not on the Member List to receive 
CARA emails because of problems with editing/adding their names to the 
website, please let us know so we can get this information to them.
