[K3CAL] CARA OCTOBER MINIUTES

On the General Class books.  I bought 3 at instructor discount.  I have one, gave one to a student and sold one to a student.


On the General Class location:  We had our first class on Wednesday before the meeting at the Chesapeake Ranch Estates Administration Building and will have all of them there.  Of the 6 students starting the class all but one were from CRE.  


On nominations:  Add the slate of officers that was approved before the end of the meeting.
Remove line about nominations are needed now.  Add nominations are closed and are as follows:


Dave Hardy Pres
Bill Hackett VP
Dick Ratcliffe Treas
Ron Byzet Sect
Steve Hempling Director


And there is no self nominating before the vote.  The slate was closed at the end of the meeting.  And now needs to be announced before our 10 day notice is violated.
Change the nominations committee line to be a thank you to them.


Repeater:  Mt Hope not Mr Hope
There were 17 in attendance after Peter Hughes arrived late.
September and October minutes will be approved in November.  September minutes were reviewed, not approved.
Holiday Party:  Shawn is coordinating not cordoning.  Monica is not.  She will bring the party goods she is storing for the club.


Sorry about all of the changes.  I had other priorities to deal with before I could spend time with this.
