On      Mods.dk    I found a home brew design for a discone antenna that 
uses PVC Pipe fittings... plan to use brass rods/tubing as radials, 
aluminum strap as top-hat,  more info at meeting, should cost less than 
$10.   and will sit atop vertical 2 inch PVC  pipe... plan to drill 2 " 
pipe to accept 8 radials.. any interest?


     coax will enter from the bottom through the "mast"..   should cover 
below 2 meters to maybe a gHz... might work for Digital TV too....  73!
