[K3CAL] Re : Thur 01/02/2018 meeting

 Good afternoon,

 From the desk of our Vice President .


 We had the monthly meeting last night with 9 in attendance.

We Voted on spending up to 500.00 dollars on DTMF controllers and 2
receivers and associated components to make it work and be able to shut
down repeater Remotely.

We installed an Nominating committee with Monica Noell and Peter Holt We
need 1 more person to bring it up to 3 .. Any Volunteers ?  or do I get to
pick a name out of the hat ?

Not a lot of attendance last night. Which prompted a discussion on how to
build up attendance and membership.  As always this is our organization and
its up to everyone of us to promote and try to build membership. Please if
you have an idea >>>bring it forth.  If you have a young person Bring them
to a meeting. A best friend, a neighbor ..

Lastly with some Dismay Tom Rozenbroek announced that he would be moving
away at the end of the month and he will miss CARA Inc.

Tom Let me say what a pleasure it was to have you in CARA Inc. and you will
be missed ...

The Raspberry pi presentation was not presented and has been scratched for
 the March meeting unless someone else has been playing with PI.
